Weekend Revelry

Well, hope everyone had a kick butt weekend!!! I had a little to much weekend revelry myself. But it was fun, and much needed after my year of non-stop writing.

We had some friends over, good food, good wine, too much get the drift. We played cards, listened to music--waaay too loud, and crawled into bed at 3 am. By 9 the next morning, hubby and I were lamenting that we are getting MUCH too old for this sort of carousing!

Anyway, this song, by some good old Canadian boys got major play time that night!!! I wonder what the minister and his wife thought who live next door????

Burn It To The Ground

Anyone do anything fun this weekend? Read anything good that you want to share?

  1. Whew! Sophie! Sounds like you guys had a great weekend. I'm finally home and playing catch up which is never fun. And while I had a great trip, I did have Blogger withdrawl. lol! Gawd, I'm so pathetic!! Ha! I should have a post up soon describing my adventures.

    Have a great week!

    (((hugs))) VFG

  2. Oh my gosh Sophie... seems I was at the wrong house this weekend!! LOL!!! Should have been at yours! I am glad that you had a great weekend!
Mine was your usual filled weekend with a 15yr old... and an LSU game!!! (by the way... we won...) But it was good weather... we had rain, but it is okay! There was a rainbow!
I am glad that you really had a great weekend!

  3. Sounds like my kind of weekend! Oh puleeeaaase, I haven't read a single thing in about two weeks. I'm the worst. I don't know, I'm just not in the mood for a romance novel at the moment. I'm sorta burnt out I guess.

I can't believe I just said that, lol.

Anyhow, I am actually reading a book by Hanz Holzer called Love Beyond the Grave. It's true whost stories. OMG, I love this man's books! I read another one of his, it was 700 and something pages but I could not put it down. I saw it at my mom's house and figured I'd read a page or two, you know, just skim. HA! Yeah right. I was reading it in th car on the way home and barely slept that night it was so good!

Ugh, I wish there were more ghost romances. I don't know why, but I find them so sensual.

  4. And that's GHOST stories...not Whost stories, lmao! See...burnt out, lol.
